Falling into Place

You waited for that sun
Felt it from a distance
Never just a star in the sky
Towards it you could fly

You longed for that star
adored it from a far
Never part of a constellation
Its site your consolation

You ached for that constellation
like mortals from days gone
like none in many a galaxy
Your salvation so you said

So that sun never rose
The star failed to shine
Seasons moved constellations
And it all fell into place
In it slot in the galaxy.
